Located in the Provence region of France near the town of Avignon the La Phyto-Olmix Co. has given Aspen Resorts International the mandate to conceptualise, coordinate and manage a “Health and Wellness” complex.
ARI’s Conception and Past Projects: Under the helm of its President Raoul Andrews Sudre, ARI was originally founded in 1961, under the name “International Consultants.” Based in Ithaca, NY where its founder lived at the time, sharing his time with running the company and teaching at Cornell University. Raoul's long career as a Business Consultant in the Hospitality Industry and the Health and Wellness fields has involved him in various constructions of hotel projects, resort developments and tourism consulting. The most significant projects were: The Marbel Complex in Tangiers, Morocco Mr. Sudre was the main consultant used on this Vacation Village and Luxury Casino Hotel. This 3500 bed resort was developed by a joint venture between the “Marbel” group, a Belgian-German financial group and the Moroccan government. At the same time, Mr. Sudre was retained by the Moroccan Ministry of Tourism to develop a “Master Plan” for the Development of the Bay of Tangiers. International Consultants also managed the first phase of the project: Hotel & Restaurants, Night Club and Beach Front Club House, from 1975-1977. Mr. Sudre was very active in the development of this Vacation Village on the island of Ibiza. This 240 apartment complex was complete with Restaurant, Bar, Marina, Tennis Club and Night Club. International Consultants was retained by the ski resort of Courchevel to develop the American Market from 1983-1988. INCO designed the Marketing strategies for the promotion of the resort on the U.S. Market, organized and customized the receptive organization of foreign visitors. Prior to the 1992 Olympics held in the Three Valleys region of Savoie, the company created a number of Luxurious Chalets and a 5 star hotel to provide much needed luxury accommodations in the resort of Meribel, adjacent to Courchevel. INCO became Aspen Spa Management in 1997.
